Welcome to StudyCalc ("we", "our", "us"), available at https://studycalctools.blogspot.com/ ("the Site"). By accessing or using the Site — including any calculators, tools, guides, and articles — you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
1. What StudyCalc Provides
StudyCalc is a free educational resource for students. It provides:
- Online calculators and tools — GPA/CGPA calculators, percentage converters, merit/aggregate calculators, and similar study tools.
- Guides and articles — written explainers on grading systems, admissions, equivalences, and study topics.
All tools and content are provided free of charge and require no account or sign-up.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Site's operation, including automated scraping at a volume that degrades service for others.
- Copy, republish, or redistribute our content or tool designs in bulk without permission, or misrepresent them as your own.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site's systems or infrastructure.
4. Accuracy of Results — Educational Estimates Only
Our calculators produce estimates for educational purposes only. Grading scales, conversion formulas (e.g., HEC percentage equivalences), merit formulas, and admission criteria vary between universities and boards and change over time. Results from our tools are not official and should always be verified with your institution, board, or the relevant authority (such as HEC, IBCC, UHS, or your university registrar). We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of calculator outputs.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, the text, images, design elements, and code of the Site are owned by StudyCalc and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may:
- View and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.
- Share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original page.
You may not reproduce substantial portions of the Site, or its tools' code or design, for commercial use without prior written permission.
6. Third-Party Links and Advertising
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and resources. We do not control or endorse those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. The Site may display advertising, including ads served by Google AdSense; advertisements do not constitute endorsement of the advertised products or services.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information. By using the Site, you consent to the practices described there.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content will always be current and accurate. See also our Disclaimer.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudyCalc and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, admission opportunities, or academic standing — arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to the Site and These Terms
We may add, modify, or remove tools, content, or features at any time without prior notice. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Effective date" above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
